Medical Office Coordinator for a Plastic Surgery Office – NEW

This position will be responsible for overseeing all front desk operations and for HR duties; such as hiring, firing, training and disciplining. Will also conduct quarterly meetings to ensure the smooth communication and operations of the practice. In this role, the coordinator will oversee all of the pre-determinations and pre-certifications and will be the point person for all IT issues and upgrades. Work closely with affiliate practice on coding changes and posting. Will work closely with bookkeeper on financials and payroll.

Will also be the point person for maintaining the physician schedule and the employees’ schedules. A background in credentialing, physician licenses, and the accuracy of personnel files is required.

Fluency on Mac computers is a big plus.

Practice Manager – NEW

This physician/owner is seeking an energized and experienced Practice Manager who can lead a team of clinicians and support staff to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care. From the little people to the adults, this facility offers a wide range of services and works hard to guarantee patient satisfaction. The Practice manager will report to the physician owner and will work closely with the Director of Operations. The Practice manager will supervise staff and ensure the smooth and efficient daily operations as well as the functions of the billing department.

 

Responsibilities for the Practice Manager:

  • Handle all personnel and human resource areas.
  • Monitor time sheets, vacation and sick time; perform payroll.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, credentialing, and OSHA.
  • Maintain retail inventory.
  • Work closely with billing team and review all A/R, denials, appeals and any insurance issues.
  • Follow budgetary and expense guidelines for the practice.
